It’s the police debate that has polarized the nation — so of course it’s perfect for high fashion!

Supermodel Irina Shayk posed for a Vogue shoot in Central Park last week in which stop-and-frisk played a key role.

The premise appears to be that the 30-year-old Russian beauty — currently dating actor Bradley Cooper — is an Hermès-clad ingénue being chased by a cop, played by model Tyson Ballou dressed in an NYPD uniform and riding a horse. Cornered, Shayk brandishes her ID — from a Chanel bag, of course. Ballou pats her down against a tree (he must have had probable cause). Then, tables turned, she strikes him with a riding crop and kisses him. Can’t we all just along?

The timing of the shoot is a bit…odd given the recent arguments over stop-and-frisk.

Vogue wouldn’t comment, and it was unclear when the pictures would appear in the magazine. Could this be a commentary on the de Blasio-era cop conflict?

If so, what’s the point? #Hotlivesmatter, too?
