When it comes to facial hair and man manes, the rule used to be one or the other. But in the wake of TV’s historical-drama craze, style-conscious guys are growing an attractive package deal.

“Game of Thrones” breakout Kit Harington and co-star Jason Momoa kick-started the trend, rocking romance-novel locks on- and off-screen. Sam Heughan from “Outlander” followed suit, as did “Tut” actor Avan Jogia and artist Marco Perego, a.k.a. Mr. Zoe Saldana. The shaggy combo was even a hit on fall runways.

Take the hint: Toss those clippers for good.
