“I’VE really become a homebody,” confesses the 24-year-old, almost 6-foot-tall model Dilone. “I travel so much that I’ve learned to make my home a sanctuary.” The busy Long Island native turned Bushwick resident has walked in shows for Marc Jacobs, Versace and Victoria’s Secret, and starred in campaigns for David Yurman and H&M. She’ll rock the runways this New York Fashion Week, although she won’t say for whom (“I’m a little superstitious,” she explains). Here, the former Janiece Altagracia Dilone tells RACHELLE BERGSTEIN about her typical, restorative weekend.

I’m a big meditator, so the first thing in the morning, it’s meditation for me. Then, if I’m up for it, I’ll do some yoga or go for a run or something. I love Maria Hernandez Park. A lot of the [Bushwick] locals are also Dominican or from other Latin backgrounds, so it feels like home.

I’m vegan, so typical Dominican food doesn’t really agree with my lifestyle anymore. There’s this little Cuban spot, Millie’s Cuban Café, that just opened, and I go there for my plantains and my rice and beans.

Hartbreakers is great, too — they have a bunch of different [meatless] burgers there. Sometimes I’ll just go in and be like, “What’s your favorite dish?” to whoever is behind the counter and try that.

I’m trying to cook more, but my girlfriend cooks more than I do. I’m thankful for her.

The Vintage Twin is probably my go-to stop for vintage shopping. They’ll find the perfect jeans to fit you. I’m skinny, and I’ve got these really long legs, so when someone can help me with that, it’s pretty great. They’ll give you a nice little booty effect, too.

I’m trying to focus a lot of my energy on music right now. I have drums in my bedroom, and I’m gonna start bass lessons soon. I live by myself, and my neighbors are great. They don’t mind the music at all.

I like making vision boards, manifesting. My mom has an unfinished one I made in 2011 hanging on her wall. And I went over to visit her recently, and I was staring at it like, holy s–t. It has me walking for Victoria’s Secret, and so many other shows that I wanted to walk for. This was [made] even before I got signed to a modeling agency.

It was really incredible. I’ve gotten so much of my life because of that powerful, positive thinking. Everything on that board came true.
