Your bridal fashion journey doesn’t end when you find your dress, since your look won’t be complete until you purchase (or borrow) the right accessories.
“Accessories are a way to elevate your bridal style and let your personality shine through,” said Marissa Rubinetti, COO and VP of Merchandising at Kleinfeld Bridal. “Today’s brides have flexibility to wear various accessories throughout the day, from a traditional lace veil for the ceremony to a dramatic cape for the after party.”

Inspired by the Netflix series “Bridgerton,” brides are including gloves in their ensemble, adding romance, sophistication or even an edgy vibe.
Jennifer Behr’s modern take on the classic pearl earring, Perlita, is a 1.25-inch cascade of crystal pearls and 18k gold-plated brass. $295, Jennifer BehrJennifer BehrKatie Sue Nicklos, CEO of Wing & Weft Gloves in Manhattan, said that shorter gloves complement dresses with ornate sleeves or shorter hem lengths, while longer gloves can add drama to simpler gowns.
The classic veil can be styled in various lengths, adorned with pearls, crystals or lace. For a more sentimental style, ask your mother, grandmother or another relative if you can take some of the lace off of their wedding dress to trim a simple tulle veil.
Consider fun and fashionable statement pieces that will look great in your photos. Rubinetti suggests an oversize coat or cape, or an embellished denim jacket as an exit look.
