Every season, there’s a huge crowd outside the tents at Bryant Park hanging out, waiting for their favorite celebs, picking up the freebies that are handed out on the street, and just, well, generally rubbernecking. Trouble is, if you’re not part of the industry, invited to a specific show, or registered for fashion week, you can’t actually get in. Here we go on a tour of the inside of the tent and some of the most exclusive areas — check out the Lotus Bar with the Peroni boys pouring endless free Italian beer, the American Express Skybox (complete with open bar and snacks), and the W Jet Set Lounge backstage, where first lady Laura Bush changed outfits before the Red Dress show.
