Like the current overalls trend that has taken over Hollywood, the matching shorts-and-top sets trend is just as hot.

Whether they’re on the red carpet or running errands, celebs like Taylor Swift, Chloë Grace Moretz and Rihanna have been seen rocking the look (Kirsten Dunst was ahead of the trend when she showed up two years ago in a super-cute matching shorts number.)

Fun, flirty and sometimes just downright cute, it’s another trend that had to be tested for the ongoing question I ask myself: “Am I too old to wear this”?

Having worn my fair share of sets at a young age, I knew this would make me feel like a kid again. How could it not, with the swing top and short shorts in a fun beach print?

Yes, I am probably technically too old to be walking around town in a matchy-matchy set. That said, I don’t care, and plan on wearing this throwback style all summer long.
