Tom Ford may have been unfaithful to Gotham during NYFW 2020, but the new chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America showed his devotion to Hollywood with a glittery show in Los Angeles. Two days before the Oscars, the stars turned out in droves.

Fresh off her Super Bowl halftime show triumph, a sparkly Jennifer Lopez snuggled with her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez; Demi Moore and daughter Rumer rocked waist-length raven locks; Miley Cyrus and her brother Trace twinned in black; and Lil Nas X and Tracee Ellis Ross popped in graphic getups.

Also front row were Lauren Sanchez and her Amazon billionaire boo and first-time Fashion Week guest, Jeff Bezos; alongside front-row veteran and Condé Nast artistic director Anna Wintour; an expectant Ciara and her hubby, Russell Wilson; and Oscar nominee Renée Zellweger.

As for the clothes, Ford was feeling Cali cool. He sent out slouchy pants in patchwork denim and gray sweatsuit fleece, sweatshirts with the sleeves sliced off and floaty tie-dye caftans. The accessories — huge feather earrings dipped in gold and towering platform shoes — added touches of glamour.

The designer saved his dazzling red-carpet looks for last. And when Bella Hadid swanned down the runway in a crystal cutout dress adorned with two velvet bows, the only question was, “Who will score this for the Oscars?”
