Gwen Stefani is a punk. And she always will be.

And fall is always her season. It’s dark, it’s edgy, it’s leather and it’s corseted. It’s what she wears and what she knows.

Here’s the thing about girls who wear L.A.M.B. — they want to look like Gwen. And they want the clothes to feel like Gwen. And unlike so many other celebrity lines that seem distant in aesthics and vision from their “designers, when you see this collection you believe that she’d actually wear almost every single piece. (The fact that she’s almost always photographed in either L.A.M.B. apparel of accessories helps too.)

Equal parts tomboy, Brit punk, military and glam, Stefani’s fall collection was everything we’ve come to expect from her. There was enough leather to drive PETA positively mad, popping up everywhere from chic black bubble short shorts (which she wore paired with a fitted leather jacket with shoulder pads to take her bow) to high waisted skinny black stretch pants and leggings. Other highlights included “punker pants” — slouchy and boyish bottoms that beg to be paired with a cropped jacket, white tank and chains — that came in soft camouflage print silk and over dyed denim, a long leopard calfskin jacket with asymmetrical button closure and loads of military inspired jackets and hoodies.

But the biggest highlight was Stefani’s baby Zuma, a total showstealer with his loud giggles and adorable super blonde blonde hair.
