The fashion scene was abuzz this week over the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund show, and we’re mooning over plenty of equally buzz-worthy looks. Léa Seydoux looks enchanting in Miu Miu, while Camilla Belle made a comeback in Monique Lhuillier. Suffice it to say, we are very impressed with the turnout this week. As always, there were a few flops — and rest assured they won’t go unmentioned.
The Hits
Léa Seydoux
WireImage (2)More women should wear suits, as evidenced by this Miu Miu ensemble that Seydoux is wearing at the “Spectre” photo call at the Corinthia Hotel in London. The French actress looks like a still from a Wes Anderson movie. Perfection!
Camilla Belle

Sienna Miller

The Misses
Kim Kardashian
Getty Images (2)Pregnancy and tight skirts go together like fine wine and stale bread — so, not surprisingly, the combo isn’t good. There’s nothing out of the ordinary about this outfit that Kim wore at the CFDA/Vogue shindig, except that her pregnant belly is literally hanging over the slit in the skirt. One would think that a bun in the oven would call for more modesty, but this one sticks to her (tight-fitting) guns . . . Bravo, Kim, bravo!
Nicole Kidman
GC Images (2)There’s just too much going on here, from the high neck to the long sleeves and from the lace to the electric-yellow detailing. Not only is this Erdem dress extremely busy, but it seems to age Kidman, who was at the Women of the Year lunch in London, by covering up too much.
Nicole Scherzinger
WireImage (2)The former Pussycat Doll took the theme quite literally at a gala for the American Ballet Theatre’s 75th anniversary in this ruffled Marc Bouwer number. The dramatic sleeves overwhelm the tiny performer, making this look more like a costume than a red carpet-ready dress.
