What Lenny Kravitz likes, Lenny Kravitz gets.
What Goes Around Comes Around counts the Kardashians and Rihanna among its famous fans. But for the luxury vintage store — which celebrated its 25th anniversary this fall and launches a new Madison Avenue outpost this week — one A-lister out-shops them all.
“Lenny Kravitz is our most epic celebrity client,” Seth Weisser, WGACA co-owner, tells Threads.
Weisser’s company boasts a 500-piece collection of archival, museum-level pieces that are rental only. Unless, of course, you’re the “American Woman” singer. “Lenny, unfortunately, fell in love with a turn-of-the-century, very ornate, hand-embroidered military jacket [from the archive] and we didn’t want to sell it,” Weisser admits. “But it’s hard to turn down Lenny when he wants something, so we released a piece for him.” It ain’t over till it’s … hanging in your closet.
