Longtime J. Crew alum Marissa Webb launched her eponymous line with a presentation at Lincoln Center this morning. Many of the twenty looks were a ying and yang of black and white. Black leather was whipped into leggings, moto vests and a beautiful full skirt with tulle peeping out of the bottom. A white drop waist cap sleeve dress was ladylike and a bit edgy, while a watermark plaid print that resembled a blown out Navajo pattern was done in a pencil skirt and sheer blouse. And not unlike her former employer, colorful pops were seen in sequins and adorable pointy and peep toe shoes.
