Chris Pratt’s secret to looking fresh-faced and clean? Klorane patches.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star’s beauty routine recently came under scrutiny after his wife Anna Faris tweeted a photo of the two getting ready for a red carpet event. Followers wanted to know about the two strips of paper Pratt was sporting under his eyes.

Pratt’s groomer, Bridget Brager, told New York magazine’s the Strategist that Pratt uses Klorane patches to brighten and reduce puffiness in the under-eye area.

Eye patches — along with lip patches, which help nourish and plump up your pout — started gaining traction among beauty obsessives about a year ago. These gel-filled packages often contain collagen, aloe, algae or other ingredients to eliminate dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles under the eye.

The Klorane mini face masks, however, use cornflower extract. According to Herb & Hedgerow, people have used cornflower to alleviate all sorts of eye-related ailments since the 17th century. Known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and its cooling effect, cornflower is now a popular ingredient in cosmetics, and some claim it can even diminish the appearance of fine lines.

Brager told Strategist that Pratt has been using Klorane patches for six months now, calling them her “go-to.” If the Star-Lord’s twinkling eyes are any indication, they seem to be doing the trick.
