Jaws dropped when Rihanna arrived at this year’s Met Ball in a fur-trimmed canary-yellow embroidered silk dress with an 8-foot-2-inch train.

The Beijing-born designer, 48, creates fanciful and opulent red-carpet fashions for Chinese stars like Li Bingbing and Zhang Ziyi.
She employs hundreds of craftspeople and will spend years perfecting a gown.
This fall, she teamed up with MAC on a limited-edition makeup collection, and is said to be working on her first ready-to-wear fashion line.
“I really do believe in fairy tales,” she says in a “China Icons” video.
“My heart is filled with our nation’s beautiful history, culture and costumes.”
