This spring marks Milly’s tenth anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than an opening of a flagship store? Aside from presenting a fabulous show, the celebration included debuting a handbag, jewelry and “Milly Minis” (children’s) lines.

Designer Michelle Smith presented a collection with intense jewel tones inspired by Guy Bourdin and a vintage influence on silhouettes to her adoring fans, which included a few blonde ladies in the front row like Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Kristin Chenoweth. Cropped sleeve jackets and capes stood out as the ideal outwear to create the fun ’70s look when styled with the popular wide leg pants and maxi skirts.

As always, accessories do make the outfit — and they did just that, with looks coming full circle with wide-brim hats, structured bags and bold jewelry.
