‘Something that I wish I knew in high school is that everything works out for a reason,” says Grier Henchy, a Tommy Hilfiger brand ambassador who’s signed to IMG Models. “I’d tell myself not to let the college application process consume you. Trust your gut and know that there is a school for everyone.”

For the daughter of actress-entrepreneur Brooke Shields and writer-producer Chris Henchy, narrowing down where to go to college was the hardest part of the application process. “Because I originally wanted a classic American college experience but also wanted to stay in New York City,” she tells Alexa. After “a lot of stress and anxiety” surrounding her decision, she ended up opting to follow her older sister, Rowan, south to Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Now in her sophomore year on the Winston-Salem campus and a Chi Omega sorority sister, Henchy, 19, is confident she made the right decision.
