At the Monique Lhuillier show, the sea and its creatures were the driving inspiration behind the fabrics, colors and organic silhouettes. Prints were bursting with varying shades of aquatic blues, scales and bold corals.

Peplums were used throughout the collection, and sparkling fabrics made ladylike daytime dresses shine like the sun hitting the surface of the rippling sea. Head to toe prints, sophisticated jackets and Lhuillier’s trademark evening gowns — which included graphic prints, tiered wavelike effects and tulle concoctions — rounded out the beautiful collection.
