Three words were listed on the show program to describe the Naeem Khan spring line: colorful, racy and glamour. And in the end, each look hit on one, two or all three descriptors.

Color was represented in bright yellow, orange and reds as well as more subdued tones of taupe, burgundy, dove and white. Cut-out backs could definitely fall in the racy category, and embellishment after embellishment served up glamour.

Khan’s reoccurring strengths of caftans (this time in prints and details) and fully beaded caviar gowns were scattered throughout, while jersey dresses were decorated with beading for an unexpected mix of materials.

Judging from the audiences standing ovation, Naeem Khan’s core customer will surely be pleased.
