Ally Hilfiger and Nary Manivong’s romance with the shirtdress continued for its third season, and their vision has been remarkably consistent and singular.

This collection was packed with delightful, fun prints, with whimsical, colorful Egyptians running around on a cream background decorated the first few dresses, and loopy florals with a ’70s vibe on silk chiffon blouses. One thing: there are always a few dresses in each NAHM collection that look like nightshirts, but that could be easily remedied with a little imagination, like adding a pair of tough motorcycle boots and a leather jacket.

Salmon and aquamarine lace collared shift dresses with dropped waists (a recurring theme) were sweet, adorable … and sexed up with standout, covetable shoes: chunky heels in either black or floral print atop mirrored silver platforms. (They were a collaboration with Leoffler Randall).

There were also more subdued looks — the navy sheath dresses looked uniform-like, and a dove-grey, floor-length dress with long sleeves and black wool cuffs looked elegantly Amish-chic.
