Colors, colors everywhere – but not exactly any we’d want to wear.

Designer Nanette Lepore’s concise little presentation was brightly colored and mainly inspired by Picasso, but the colors she chose to work with left us feeling, well, sallow. Olive, oranges, yellows – this collection was loaded with hues that were just slightly off and flattering to so few.

As an aside, what exactly is a “Swim dress?” Lepore showed several of these micro-mini length dresses that are definitely not for swimming or even sunning, for that matter. Just how does “swim” go with “dress” in this case?

At least Aida Turturro and Jonathan Adler seemed to enjoy the show from their front row perches.
