From red carpets around the world to parent-teacher conferences in New York, Oscar-nominated actress Naomi Watts is often pulled in many directions (literally, with recent film shoots in Slovenia, Canada and Australia).
So Mother’s Day with kids Sasha, 13, and Kai, 12, is always a special time for the co-founder of clean beauty brand ONDA. Surprisingly, last year’s COVID lockdown provided the 52-year-old’s fondest holiday memory to date.
“Right smack in the beginning of the pandemic, we were all new in that anxious place, with a lot of uncertainty,” Watts tells Alexa.
“I was alone at home and my kids showed up with their dad [Liev Schreiber] to surprise me with breakfast in bed and handwritten notes.”
