Naomi Watts was her usual disappointing self in not one but two horrid ensembles. Thankfully, there were other A-listers on deck to pick up the slack and wow us (in a good way!).

The actress’ choice of a dreadful pink Vionnet suit for the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of “About Ray” is questionable, to say the least, but turns out to be a bright spot compared to the wretched neon green-and-black lace Fausto Puglisi frock that looks as though it got lost on the way to an ice-skating competition.

Lizzy Caplan

Any one of these patterns may have made for a suitable dress — all three of them at the same time, however, is visual vomit. Hopefully, Caplan will burn this Mary Katrantzou dress that she wore to the LA premiere of “Sleeping With Other People” so that something wearable will bloom from its ashes.

We get it, Heidi — you’re 42 and still smokin’ hot. But hopefully, at next year’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards, you’ll opt for a dress that isn’t simply a bunch of fabric tacked on to some lingerie — as this Atelier Versace gown appears to be.

Oh, Taraji — what would Cookie say? The “Empire” star takes a stab at the current sheer trend, but this Emanuel Ungaro patterned mesh dress is more like a flimsy robe than high-end fashion at the show’s Season 2 premiere in NYC.
