Sarah Palin, fashionista?

The 53-year-old former Alaska governor appeared at the White House on Wednesday looking oh-so-trendy in an off-the-shoulder white lace top.

The 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee has a history of shaking up the fashion world — along with the political world — with her range of dubious designer choices.

“Who can forget Sarah Palin the style icon, who lit up the 2008 campaign trail with her pricey designer duds, Naughty Monkey shoes and those rimless Kawasaki glasses?” The Hollywood Reporter said.

Over the years, Palin’s sartorial choices have both dazzled and horrified fashion critics.

As the Hollywood Reporter put it: “Nine years later, the former Governor of Alaska has still got it.”
