Bleeker Street is redeeming itself after allowing Juicy to move there. Selima Optique at 357 Bleeker has partnered with an ace buyer and is in the midst of installing a full collection of sweet dresses by some up and coming local designers. I stumbled in on Friday afternoon when I noticed a cute tartan baby doll dress by Seana Gordon in the window. I didn’t have my camera at the time, and they weren’t yet ready for their close up either.

But with the collection of frames, vintage jewelry and great frocks, it’s a nice eclectic change from all of the mono-designer shops popping up along the strip.
