PETER SOM
It was all very pleasant and pretty at Peter Som – a lot of sleeveless, just-above-the-knee cocktail dresses fitted and cinched with thin belts; breezy, swingy skirts in sorbet-reds paired with billowy yet modest blouses in the same shade; wide-legged trousers paired with skinny jackets.
All very lovely – but quite boring and uninspired. There really wasn’t one look that felt remotely worth coveting. Juxtaposing seersucker with silk chiffon was clever though. We’ll give him that.
