The IAC Building on the West Side lent itself as the perfect modern setting for the Preen spring show. The audience faced a wall covered with colorful light cube art that moved and faded as the show began. These were the same cubes found printed on silk boxy tops, shrunken sweaters, pencil skirts and dresses.

From there the collection moved into a slight blue period ranging from solids to almost digital floral prints in fresh silhouettes with attached ruffle collar and sleeve details. Then, black and white became a key combination, with yellow as a recurring color. Mini ruffle peplums attached to the waists of pants and skirts created flair for the more cheeky Preen customer.

Multi-color sequins were a welcome embellishment for moving the look from bold key pieces to specialty items for your spring wardrobe.
