The Rachel Comey girl might affectionately be described as geek-chic. But she went edgier for fall, with long, sexy black dresses held up by clear plastic straps, a boxy gunmetal gray top with a slight shimmer, sweaters cinched by clear plastic belts. Lines were clean, many holding ’60s shapes but not overly influenced by the decade

The main colors, besides black and gunmetal, were shots of silver (a textured knee-length skirt), white, orange and a few great floral prints. Models walked the runway in chunky white shoes, their hair pulled back into sleek side-parted buns.
