Fashion gazers who showed up to the Rebecca Minkoff show were treated to two performances in one, when singer and ubiquitous Fashion Week deejay Theophilus London emerged onto the catwalk clad in black leather pants and a motorcycle jacket singing “I Stand Alone.”

The surprised crowd felt the energy, and most importantly, it didn’t overshadow the main style event. Minkoff delighted with on trend jewel toned separates, comfy chic sequins pants and bomber jackets. A punchy yellow python print was seen on shorts, a waxed trench and blown out on silk blouses while ruby red made a showing in a blouse, mini dress and pants. There were many variations of blanket jackets and shearling t-shirts added lux texture, but her black-and-white kaleidoscope print punctuated the collection in silky pants, boxy blouses and a column dress with clavicle cutouts.
