PARIS — When Rihanna’s in town, you know the party has officially begun. The songbird-slash-Drake-lover-slash-fashion-designer debuted her Fenty x Puma spring 2017 collection in Paris with not one, but, two runway shows.
Held back-to-back (the first at 7:30 p.m., the second at 8:30 p.m.), RiRi owned the night with her haute extravaganza times two: pearl chokers, for men; lace do-rags, for the ladies; sporty, sheer pink jackets; pale purple corsets, including one worn by Victoria’s Secret bombshell Taylor Hill; whisper-thin nighties; and floral print separates.

Silhouettes were slinky, sexy and sporty — much like a typical casual daytime outfit worn by the designer herself. If it all sounds like a feast-for-the-eyes affair, that’s because it was. Leave it to RiRi to get the fashion week party lit.
