We have three words to describe Rock & Republic’s “spring” show – black, white and tight.

The super short dresses, anorexically fitted pants (appropriately named “The Skinny Bitch,” btw) and oodles of ruffles, fringe and studs had our heads in a whirl. How 54 separate looks all just blend in to one?

Plus we think they may have missed the memo: We’re supposed to be looking at happy spring things. Black leather vests, severe high-waisted skirts with blouses and depressingly dark denim hardly qualify.

That’s not to say that skinny jeans lovers won’t flip over the aforementioned pants, finished with scrunched side zipper bottoms, and the black-and-white printed leggings. They will. If there’s one thing Rock & Republic knows, it’s how to construct a hot pair of jeans. And thankfully that has not changed.
