If you happen to stumble from the Spotted Pig in the daylight hours, head to men’s boutique, Oliver Spencer just across the road. Because well edited shops for guys are at a premium in the city, this handsome haberdashery is completely worth a visit.

Looking like an old Banana Republic store back when the motif was bwana, it showcases the hybrid bespoke/casual label Oliver Spencer out of the UK. But it also has coats and ties from Engineered Garments, T shirts from salty Rogues Gallery, shades by Linda Farrow and gorgeous nubuck shoes from Oliver Spencer.

In essence, it’s a collaboration between Oliver Spencer and the owners of Soho boutique, Odin – a much more aesthetically pleasing and relevant collaboration than Madge and H&M.

John and Katie are minding the till, so be sure say hi and take a browse.
