On Thursday, news broke that Raf Simons will be leaving his role as artistic director of Christian Dior. In a statement, the 47-year-old Belgian designer expressed a need to “focus on other interests in my life, including my own brand, and the passions that drive me outside of my work.” That is, “Dior, it’s not you, it’s me.”
