Jeremy Scott is always bursting at the seams with ideas, but this season his Moschino show was sew basic.

Using seamstress tools, notions and marker scribbles as inspiration, the American designer never lost the thread. He sent out a needle-strewn gown topped with a thimble hat (so sharp) and a life-size scissors getup, complete with finger rings over the shoulders and long silvery blades that almost scraped the floor (so snippy).

While these tailor-made looks had the audience in stitches, the measuring tape stole over a dress-form bodysuit with a built-in balaclava was a few centimeters too scary (so gimpy?). But Scott can be forgiven for the haunting haberdashery. It might make an appearance on the next season of American Horror Story.
