Manolo Blahnik found Rihanna — and they found love.

The two powerhouses paired up for an exclusive effort deliciously titled “Denim Desserts,” debuting May 5.

“Rihanna is a force,” Blahnik tells Threads. “When she approached me to do the collaboration, I was intrigued. I was very curious as to what she would want to do, and she brought to the table a head full of ideas. She wanted denim, and for me that was a dare, as I haven’t really done many denim shoes in the past. On top of the denim we added jewelled embroidery reminiscent of her hand tattoos.”

The Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik capsule features six styles, including a pair of hip-high $3,995 boots called the “9 to 5” that RiRi has already gifted to Jennifer Lopez with the note: “To the baddest. Because I know you’re going to wear them better than me. From: Badgirlriri.”
