Well, not quite yet, but a university in the UK is going to be awarding degrees in the fashion styling field in an intensive 3 year program.

This little nugget from the , Southhampton Solvent University website seemed particularly apocalyptic.

“You will have the opportunity to explore the importance of celebritydressing and model scouting, and understand image as an advertising tool through fashion styling, make up and hair design.”

It actually sounds like a lot of fun, and I’d like to trade in my history degree for 3 more years of “academia”. But this brings the B.S. to whole other level.

I wonder if they will offer a course on becoming more famous than your clients. Sign me up!
