Oh, you thought 2017’s fashion trends were crazy? Welcome to 2018; these crystal-embellished Nike Air Jordans cost $6,500.

Artist Daniel Jacob is the master bedazzler behind these glittery kicks, dubbed the Danlife Golds. Each pair is made to order using more than 15,000 hand-set crystals, and takes up to four weeks to create.

Before settling into his current sole-sparkling role, Jacob — whose work has been featured in several galleries, including Axiom Contemporary in Santa Monica, Calif., and ECHT in Chicago — blinged out sculptures of pandas, Buddhas, popsicles and, relevantly, a large Air Jordan sneaker.

That last one, pictured below, “was mistaken by many as wearable,” he tells Footwear News. “I received hundreds of requests.”

So he finally decided to give the people what they wanted: “a mini-launch in my favorite color of my favorite Jordans, the Pinnacle.”

Sparkle on, Jacob.
