You can’t buy Cindy Crawford’s genes — but her jeans are fair game.
The ’90s icon is as famed for her all-American style as she is for her body and beauty mark. So it makes perfect sense that she’s teamed up with Re/Done, a brand that repurposes vintage Levi’s (and other brands), to design her own jean line.
According to Vogue, Crawford’s daughter, 15-year-old model Kaia Gerber, first put Re/Done on Crawford’s radar. “My daughter is obsessed with [them], and I didn’t really have any of their jeans because I felt like I was there the first time around,” she told the mag.
Amused, Crawford took to Instagram with a vintage masterpiece of her own: An old shot of herself rocking a pair of Levi’s. She captioned the post: “#TBT Workin’ that @shopredone look before @shopredone was even born!”
Her cheeky ’gram reportedly caught the company’s eye — and from there, the denim dream team was born.
Crawford’s collab officially launches mid-September, but superfans of the super can join waitlists for pieces here.
Along with not-too-high-waisted Levi’s (from $240), the collection includes tee’s bearing Crawford’s signature and a sweatshirt printed with a glam shot of Crawford.
Hey, if the jeans don’t give you a butt like Cindy’s, at least you can wear a picture of her.
