British fashion designer Christopher Kane has teamed up with Z-Coil, an actual orthopedic-shoe brand, on the latest iteration of the dorky dad-shoe trend.

Kane’s comfort shoe features a springboard platform heel, designed to provide maximum support — plus some sparkly embellishment, for fashion’s sake.

Ironically, these unsexy shoes made their debut at Kane’s London fashion week show called “Joy of Sex.” His past collections have included a similarly eye-popping Crocs collab — a look recently co-opted by Balenciaga.

We predict these will be a “shoe”-in with the older crowd.
