Picture a Trekkie convention for the vintage obsessed and you’ve pretty much got the seventh annual Jazz-Age Lawn Party, held this past weekend on Governors Island. Hundreds gathered to hear handsome Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra play while they paraded about in natty suits and flapper dresses. Here are a few of the roaring-est, snazziest looks. Friends Mikkel Brøgger, a 31-year-old jewelry designer, and consultant Lola Phonpadith have turned the event into their annual tradition. “It’s our thing,” says Phonpadith, a Williamsburg resident. “You travel back in time. It’s so romantic New York.” Gabi Porter

Sarah Liston, 37, is a staple of the ’20s-meets-2000s scene. “I used to own a vintage clothing store,” says the Upper East Sider, who performs burlesque all over town as Grace Gotham. “But I’m sorry to disappoint that this [outfit] is modern. Vintage doesn’t fit me anymore.” Liston paired her look with a Victorian parasol bearing a slight rip in the top. “It’s my skylight,” she jokes. Gabi Porter

The two are now dating — and are about to move in together in Park Slope. (Gale’s suit is a replica of one his grandfather wore in the photograph he holds!) Gabi Porter

Gin Minsky, a 27-year-old tap-dancer from Bushwick, admits she wore the same dress last year. “But I re-accessorized, to make it darker!” she says. Her friend here, David Lochner, the 30-year-old owner of Philly’s Briar Vintage, says he modeled his look after a 1924 advertisement for men’s clothing. Gabi Porter
