Spokespersons for the fashion house announced today that Jeff Halmos and Sam Shipley, two of four founding members of one of the fashion industry’s favorite young labels, Trovata, and co-winners of the 2006 CFDA Perry Ellis Award for emerging menswear designer, will be stepping down from their positions effective January 1, 2007. Co-founder John Whitledge will continue on as the company’s creative director.

Trovata made its runway debut during New York fashion week 2005 and, since, has garnered accolades from editors and industry professionals all over the world.
