Leave it to Tommy Hilfiger to find new ways to interpret the prepster mantra.

With Peter Som holding court as a consultant to the women’s collection, Hilfiger took the swinging ’60s by storm, all the while staying true to his preppy aesthetic.

It started with boxy tweed-printed coats, swingy jackets and long-sleeved, silky shifts, with mod, striped cableknit sweaters styled with crisp popped collars quickly following suit.

Wide colorblocked stripes in shades of maroon, mustard and salmon boldly zig-zagged across oversized ponchos, and a leather button-down mini-shift dress was an updated version of something Twiggy might’ve added to her coveted mod wardrobe.
