Having already secured a place in the canon of classic American design, it seems Tommy Hilfiger is forging ahead with a sense of freedom that’s imbued his spring showing with a fresh, energetic flavor. All the Tommy codes were in place: the crested blazers, the red, white and blue. Stripes were there, too, but in a bigger way than ever before. The best of it came on a racing stripe motorcycle jacket, which perfectly embodied the collection’s “edgy prep” attitude.
