In the last few seasons, Tory Burch has been inching away from the gilded logo and trademark tunics that made her famous, but her latest collection was a full on retreat. With fashion week fixture Kanye West on hand, the petite designer unveiled her personal fascination with the ever-present 70s aesthetic. A myriad of beautiful pleated over the knee-length skirts in plaids, nuetrals and metallics anchored the show while wide leg trousers masquerading as maxi skirts tickled the runway. Deep scarlet tweeds, brown plaids and stone were whipped into louche seperates that topped off blouses with oversized bows.
