Tory Burch
Sounds of waves crashing kicked off Tory Burch’s first runway show, suggesting Burch’s nautical state of mind: There were riptide stripes, bermuda shorts and raffia appliques, as well as navy-and-white striped messenger bags.
Her mix-mastered prints were there, too, in the way of tweedy jackets and colorblocked skirts. Golden polka dots sprinkled breezy cotton tops, while rows of fringe stretched across navy skirts.
She closed with a trio of dreamy, deco-inspired drop-waist chiffon gowns that would beautifully befit a beach wedding.
