Tyra Banks may no longer saunter down the catwalk on a regular basis, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to let New York Fashion Week pass her by. The fashion icon is teaming up with photographer Udo Spreitzenbarth for “15,” a tribute to iconic supermodels.
The “America’s Next Top Model” creator and host announced the project on Twitter over the weekend. “15” is on display at Manhattan’s Jack Studios from today until November 9.

For “15,” Banks, Spreitzenbarth and a cast of other collaborators, sought to recreate 15 of fashion’s most iconic shots as un-retouched, black and white photos. Some of the models Banks posed as include her own “idol,” Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne, among others.
“15” is named for the number of women portrayed, as well as the age at which that Banks started modeling. Appropriately, the one of the photos in the series is of the model emulating her teenage self.
