Hollywood’s A-listers had a spring awakening this week, with actresses stepping out in colorful, floral numbers despite sub-zero temperatures plaguing several parts of the country. But while Uzo Aduba and Kate Hudson come up roses, Pink’s bouquet-covered frock just doesn’t bloom.
The hits:
Uzo Aduba

Kate Hudson

The misses:
Pink
Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic (2)The pop-rock singer ditches her traditional rocker-chic look and, for some unknown reason, settles on this floral schoolmarm frock from Michael Kors at the unite4:humanity gala in LA.
Michelle Monaghan

Rooney Mara

This odd tunic — with waistline cutouts over wide-legged pants — manages to accomplish just that on the “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” actress at the Vanity Fair, Barneys New York and Oxfam dinner in LA.
Rita Ora

Lightning Round: Keira Knightley

Rodriguez/Getty ImagesKnightley’s pilgrim-inspired Burberry frock at the Writers Guild Awards LA ceremony is a dull look from the “Imitation Game” actress, but she returned to form days later in a fun, colorful Alexander Lewis dress for her appearance with co-star Benedict Cumberbatch on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
