“High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens was introduced Wednesday as the new face of the Candie’s clothing line, taking over from pop star Britney Spears.
The teen brand released steamy shots of the 22-year-old actress photographed at the Pink Motel in Sun Valley, Calif., that will be featured in a print campaign in Seventeen, Teen Vogue and Cosmopolitan magazines.
“I am the new face of Candie’s! So excited! I’ve always wanted to represent Candie’s!” Hudgens tweeted about her new role.
Spears, 29, had promoted the brand during her “Circus” tour in 2009 and even designed her own collection for Candie’s in 2010.
Celebrities including The Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie, 35, former “Lizzie McGuire” star Hilary Duff, 23, and former Playboy model Jenny McCarthy, 38, have also previously fronted the brand.
