Like most of the Fall ’07 designers, Vivenne Tam showed mostly dark and somber fare, in blacks, navys, grays and purples, with a sprinkling of gold metallic accents and a few printed dresses in color. Short, over-the-knee dresses featured drop-waists, pin-tucks, pleating and slash detailing. The designer tapped her Chinese roots with a navy boiled wool dress with Buddha designs, black brocade jacket with dragon beaded embroidered top and many dresses with a twist on the classic cheong-sam silhouette.
