Dapper chef Marcus Samuelsson is a man of taste, both gustatory and sartorial.
The 46-year-old, who has 32 restaurants from New York to Stockholm, just opened two hot spots at the Curtain hotel in London: the Red Rooster Shoreditch, an outpost of his famed Harlem eatery, and Tienda Roosteria, an all-day bar and taco joint.
The Ethiopia-born, Sweden-raised culinary star also recently released the Savoring Harlem Detour app, an audio tour of his favorite neighborhood, and will unveil his first restaurant in Newark, NJ, this fall. Samuelsson lives in Harlem with his wife, Maya Haile, and their baby boy, Zion (his daughter, Zoe, lives in Europe).
Here’s a look at the stylish gear that flavors his world.
