Move over TikTok, Twitter has the latest beauty crazy and it’s actually a throwback for those who rocked a bright lip pre-pandemic.

MAC Cosmetics’ bestselling bright red shade of lipstick called “Ruby Woo” is trending on Twitter as a must-have shade, with the purple shade “Heroine” getting a well-deserved honorable mention.

A tweet hailing the hue by @stopolive from Feb. 2 racked up more than 28.6 thousand likes overnight.

Now, OG lipstick lovers are reminiscing over the memories these shades bring back and newbies are chiming in to thank the post for turning them on to a new beauty best.

Might as well look our best under those masks, right?

Thankfully, if you weren’t paying attention to your feed, there’s still time to get your hands — and lips – on these shades.

The red lippie is called the MAC Retro Matte Lipstick and is sold on their site for just $19. For those who prefer a gloss to a stick, the same red shade is also sold in a Lipglass for $18 at MAC.

Make sure to line your lips with the matching shade, sold at Ulta Beauty for $18.

If you had more of a passion for purple, the vivid “Heroine” shade is also sold at MAC in a matte lipstick for $19. The matching purple lip pencil is sold at Ulta Beauty for $18, to give you the full effect of a perfectly painted lip.
