Sarah Jessica Parker wears the shoe while out and about in NYC.ACE/INFCarrie Bradshaw would’ve loved to add these to her $40,000 shoe wardrobe.
The “Tartt,” a $385 Mary Jane from the fall 2015 shoe line of Sarah Jessica Parker’s SJP Collection, is finally hitting stores — months after selling out online.
Neiman Marcus’ Web site ran out of the sparkly 2-inch block-heel pump in just 45 minutes in July, and it was snapped up in under four hours on zappos.com.
“All I want in life is to rock the @SJP Tartt Sparkly Mary Jane Pump on my size 10 foot. I would even sleep in them. #agirlcandream #love,” fan Jordan Holley lamented on Twitter.
“I purchased them in July, and I physically didn’t get them until a couple of weeks ago,” says wardrobe stylist Lisa Graystone, 36, of Cambria, Calif., who wears the disco ball-like slippers to the grocery store.
Next week, Bloomingdale’s flagship store will be the first brick-and-mortar retailer to stock the “Tartt” — an online presale has already sold out in four sizes. (Zappos will also get a new shipment next month, and neimanmarcus.com promises to fill back orders by Nov. 23.)
Author Donna TarttAPParker tells The Post that she named the shoe after novelist Donna Tartt of “The Goldfinch” fame, because “she’s someone whose work I have admired for a long time, and she has a particular way of dressing.”
The author, who has cited the film “Harold and Maude” as a sartorial influence, is known for her minimalist, monochromatic menswear look — which seems like a leap from her glittery namesake shoe.
Parker says she’s had lots of friends ask her to help them get their hands on the “Tartt.” But even Carrie Bradshaw can’t do it.
“I don’t have any pull,” she says, laughing.
